Performance
While there are noticeable differences between the Atlas and the Atlas Cross Sport, you will not find differences in their capabilities. The Atlas is available with six trim levels, and the Atlas Cross Sport has seven options. The lower trim levels for both models have a 235-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. The top trims for both models have a 276-horsepower, V6, 3.6-liter engine. Both powertrains in these models are associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Appearance
The Atlas is a larger vehicle with broader dimensions. Its cabin accommodates three rows, so it maintains a tall roofline. The two-row Atlas Cross Sport has a tapered roofline and a stronger curve across the hood. You will also notice a metal-accented air vent sitting below the side mirrors of the Atlas Cross Sport. These models have a few shared design traits, including encompassing grilles that have horizontal bars running through them. The integrated LED headlights have a dual-elemental design.
