Performance

The 2023 Atlas comes in six trims with two engines between them. The lower three trims receive 235 horsepower from a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. A 276-horsepower, the 3.6-liter V6 engine is loaded in the top three trims. For the 2023 Atlas Cross Sport, these same two powertrains are available in seven trim levels. All trims for both vehicles have optional all-wheel drive or standard front-wheel drive.

Appearance

Many appealing design elements that dress up the Atlas are also incorporated with the Atlas Cross Sport. For example, both models have a comprehensive, rectangular grille with horizontal bars. Their front bumpers have a metallic outline. They also have thick molding with subtle corners in the wheel wells. The Atlas has a longer base and roof to accommodate its three-row cabin. On the front end, the headlights have two L-shaped LED light elements. The Atlas Cross Sport, on the other hand, has a tapered liftgate and roofline. The fenders are rigorously defined. The sides also have a linear, chrome air vent. The headlights have a single L-shaped LED ribbon.

Features

The Atlas and the Atlas Cross Sport are comparably appointed across their trims. They both are offered with park assist, leather upholstery, a Fender sound system, a surround-view camera system, heated seats in the first and second rows, ambient interior lighting, a digital instrument panel, a wireless charging pad, front and rear parking sensors, and other items. The Atlas also is available with a three-zone climate control system, second-row captain’s chairs, a towing package, and a few other items.
