2023 Volkswagen Atlas vs 2022 Volkswagen Atlas
Serving Farmington Hills, MI
Volkswagen originally introduced the three-row Atlas crossover SUV in 2018. This impressive model, the largest vehicle offered by Volkswagen today, has benefited from modest improvements over the years. However, Volkswagen has not introduced updates between the 2022 and 2023. What can you expect from the Atlas when you soon visit Suburban Volkswagen of Farmington Hills?
Performance
The 2022 and 2023 Atlas are available in six trim levels, and there are two powertrains offered between the trims. The first three trims draw 235 horsepower from a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. The upper three trims receive 276 horsepower from a 3.6-liter V6 engine. Higher trim levels have standard all-wheel drive. Your next visit to our Volkswagen showroom allows you to compare these two powertrains through a test drive.
Appearance
The façade of the Atlas is unchanged between the two most recent model years. This is an elegant crossover SUV with a confident, linear definition throughout. This begins on the nose with horizontal bars running across the wide grille. These bars directly flow into the double elements in the LED headlights. The sides are dressed up with front-to-rear body molding and a linear pinstripe accent. In select or all trims, the Atlas has a hands-free liftgate, 18-inch to 21-inch wheels, a sunroof, and power-folding side mirrors.
Features
The Atlas is magnificently equipped with desired features throughout its trim lineup. All trims have keyless ignition, keyless entry, heated front seats, a digital instrument cluster, a hotspot, rear window sunshades, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. All trims also have safety tech like a rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision mitigation, and a blind-spot monitor. Higher trims add a three-zone climate management system, a wireless charging pad, adaptive cruise control, wireless smart device connections, front and rear parking sensors, captain’s chairs in the second row, a navigation system, ambient lighting, leather material, a surround-view camera, and more.
